I have worked at the Jon Lori salon for 10 yrs. I am a level 3 hairstylist. I have worked in almost every field of the salon, and I love it all.
I have been trained in many different areas. Including, educational classes at The Redken exchange with training in Hair cutting and coloring.
I am a certified Redken specialist and have completed the Redken color certification. I have also attended classes at the Bumble and Bumble University with training in razor cutting.
I also have certifications in men’s barbering and formal styling. I had the great pleasure of attending last year’s Redken symposium, getting a glimpse of this year’s hair trends with some of the world’s most renowned runway stylist.
I am very passionate about what I do; I love to make each and every client beam with happiness. I love showing my clients “how to” after I have cut or styled their hair, I find it very important to show each client how to re create what I have done that day on themselves every day.

Karen is an expert in all aspects of professional hair color, specializing in: Color Correction; Natural, Classic Highlighting techniques, including Baliage; Highlights, Midlights, Lowlights; and Natural and Modern Grey Coverage.

Wendy is a stylist with over eleven years of experience and remains one of our top stylists. She excels in her cuts of both long and short hair, coloring, hi-lighting and finishing work. Wendy is a Redken 5th Ave certified colorist with extensive training at Redken Exchange in New York City, Vidal Sassoon Academy in Los Angeles, Bumble & Bumble university in New York City and others.
She is a Redken Certified Hair Colorist. She enjoys making her clients look and feel beautiful. Wendy is creative and a trendsetter in her field. But most importantly, Wendy masters in the art of listening to her clients.
The most rewarding part of my job is that I not only get to do something I truly love, but I also get to meet great people, and have the chance to bring happiness to each and every one of them by enriching their lives with a new look.

I have had a passion for hair and beauty from earliest childhood. At five years old, I carried a purse with a nail file and nail polish and charged my friends five cents for a manicure. I had an aunt named Connie, with 10 hairs on her head, and I would just comb her hair for hours. She was the first one to say, “She’s going to be a hairdresser.” My family envisioned other careers for me, but I knew this was my calling. I love to create so I got my education and training on my own.
I finally became a licensed hairdresser when I was eight months pregnant with twins. Through sheer determination and will, I achieved my dream. My first job was with my mother’s friend, a naturally gifted hairdresser. From that point, with continuous professional training and years of experience, I developed a truly rewarding career. Today I am devoted to the distinguished clientele I serve on Park Avenue in New York, and in Fair Haven, New Jersey. Sean was literally born into the beauty industry; it is in his blood and it is his passion to create captivating, precision cuts and breathtaking, brilliant color.
He has been instilling confidence in his guests since he started his career at the age of 17 and believes in keeping up with new styles, techniques, and trends to provide his guests the ultimate experience and exceptional quality they deserve.
Sean is a REDKEN Certified Hair Colorist for REDKEN 5th Ave NYC and holds over 15 Certificate of Achievements in advanced education and techniques, that takes place at the famous Redken Exchange, Pureology, and Bumble & Bumble University in New York City. Sean is also part owner of a REDKEN 5th Ave NYC endorsed Cosmetology academy, The Salon Professional Academy, located in South Plainfield, NJ where he currently holds a New Jersey Educator license as well.

A New Jersey State licensed cosmetologist, RoseMary offers her talents as our Make Up Artist. Training under Ruth Factor, Matrix and YoungBlood Cosmetics including the latest trend of mineral cosmetics. RoseMary offers years of experience in Bridal, prom & photography make up. Her work has appeared in print as well as film.
Cynthia Petix a New Jersey native has been a stylist for more than a decade. She embarked on her journey in 1999 following in the footsteps of her beloved grandfather (a barber by trade) and enrolled in The Capri Cosmetology School in Kenilworth NJ.
Following graduation she began her working career at El Salon in Oakhurst NJ. Here she worked closely with a veteran staff of three women who combined for over 50 years experience in the salon industry including entrepreneurial ownership. The teachings and knowledge from this salon would later inspire her to open her own nail salon while working as a stylist.
Her willingness to learn and her passion for the business led her to Dieci in Livingston NJ. Cynthia is creativity combined with her new found knowledge became the perfect formula for success.
Continuing her education, Cynthia traveled cross-country to The Vidal Sassoon Academy in Santa Monica California. There she studied and trained with men and women from around the world including Australia and Europe. After three months she would return to New Jersey certified by The Vidal Sassoon Academy and motivated by her many dynamically talented peers.
Eager to apply her skills, Cynthia intensified her search for a salon she could call home. This journey led her to Jon Lori in the summer of 2006. Since this time she has been certified in SoCap and Great Lengths hair extensions, a new service she and Jon Lori have brought to their customers. She continues her education, taking classes regularly with the staff at Redken 5th Ave NYC, and works closely with her clients making them look their very best.
After graduating top of her class at the Concorde School of Hair Design, Cynthia started her career as a stylist here at the Jon Lori Salon.
Undergoing an extensive training program, with stylist Wendy Gomez, Cynthia learned many techniques for cutting and coloring men and women’s hair. She is also very passionate in her work with formal styling for weddings and special events.
Cindy attended the 2009 Redken Symposium in Las Vegas. She continues to advance her knowledge in haircutting and color at the Redken Exchange in NYC. She said, “I have watched my Grandma succeed in this business all my life. It inspires me to know that someday I will use my talent to update an old style that is back in.”

Jaimie Richardson has had a passion for hair design her entire life. It was in high school when she decided to pursue a career in hair styling. With three years experience, Jaimie is blossoming and eager to learn to be the top stylist wherever she goes. It was Jon Lori Salon and their outstanding team which helped Jaimie’s creative disposition come into play. Once she saw how talented and unique each stylist was she knew she found where she belonged. With extensive training with Courtney Ridenour, one of Jon Lori Salons top stylists and hands on education at the Redken Exchange on Madison Avenue in Manhattan, Jaimie has learned cutting edge techniques dealing with both cutting and coloring.
